Transcoders

During the recent years we experience a significant change in the manner video is being watched. This trend influences dramatically the transmission structure, for example CODECs, TS layer and packaging, transmitted profiles, in some cases enabling seamless profile resolution change at the receiving unit, etc. Video Headend would need to receive a video signal, Transcode the video signal and send it to the distribution network while taking into account the video receivers needs.
